Mariette is a passionate facilitator and educator, dedicated to supporting individuals on life's journey, whether that be in service to the community through ministry or education.  She is creative and dynamic, expressing her love for others through the ordinary and the extraordinary alike, whether that be through the work of her hands or heart. With expertise in facilitation, active listening and dialogue, music and art, she thrives in authentic interactions and expression to explore the human condition. Mindful of the needs of others, she is deeply aware that what we put into our bodies, minds and spirit shapes who we are and who we are becoming. Perhaps you'll get a chance to enjoy a home cooked meal!...  as she's no stranger to delving into the culinary arts to create dynamic and nurturing meals too!

Mariette has over 20 years of classroom and chaplaincy experience as well as over 30 years of experience in retreat ministry, serving for 8 years at Mt St Francis Retreat and 20 years at Sanctum Retreat, where she is both a founder and director.  As well as holding BA and  B Ed degrees and an MA in Theology, she is working towards completion of her Doctoral Studies in Pastoral Psychology, and has authored guided meditation recordings for Christian prayer and 12 step groups to support individuals on their spiritual paths.
